Boo! A cozy fall salad, a sweet treat, and a warm drink inside 🎃

Oi, Gente!

Happy Halloween! 👻🎃

Before the fun (and sugar rush) begins, I thought I’d share a few cozy recipes that are perfect for tonight.

Something to eat, something sweet, and a little something for the grown-ups to sip while the kids do their thing.

Start with my Acorn Squash Salad with Quinoa and Honey-Lime Dressing - it’s hearty and colorful, full of fall flavors, and easy to throw together before heading out.

For dessert, Arroz Doce Cremoso, a creamy Brazilian rice pudding that’s pure comfort in a bowl.

And for a little grown-up treat, make a batch of Quentão, a warm, spiced Brazilian drink made with cachaça, ginger, and citrus. It’s cozy, festive, and just right for sipping between candy rounds when it's chilly out.

However you’re celebrating tonight, I hope it’s filled with good food, laughter, and lots of chocolate too!

Roasted Acorn Squash Salad

A cozy fall salad that’s as beautiful as it is delicious. It’s made with roasted acorn squash, fluffy quinoa, queso fresco, and a honey-lime dressing that ties it all together. A great hearty dinner for any day of the week!

Arroz Doce Cremoso

Creamy, comforting, and ready in under 30 minutes, this Brazilian rice pudding is sweetened with condensed milk and perfectly spiced. It’s the cozy little dessert you’ll want to curl up with after the trick-or-treating’s done.

Quentão de Cachaça

A warm, spiced cocktail for the grown-ups, made with caramelized sugar, cachaça, and ginger. It’s sweet, boozy, and perfect to sip while the kids are out gathering candy (or after they crash for the night 😏).
